Korean music ensemble HONA consists of 4 versatile artists who play gayageum (zither), piri (oboe), saenghwang (mouth organ), ajaeng (bowed zither) and a variety of traditional percussion such as janggo, ggwaenggwari, jing etc. Our music is based on Korean traditional rhythms and sounds, but our goal is to make new music in new way to touch the hearts and spirits of contemporary audiences.
